Memberships and Private Groups

Introduction

If you want to be successful in recruiting and selling, it's important to build a group of followers. Having a group of people who believe in you, your expertise, authority, and trust makes you more likely to be able to grow a large team. People are more likely to listen to and trust someone who has a following. If you can build up a group of followers, you'll be well on your way to becoming a leader in your field.

In order to build a following, you will have to complete the following steps:

  1. Determine the niche for your group and the purpose for it.
  2.  Decide on the platform you want to use.
  3. Create interesting and engaging content.
  4. Inspire interaction.
  5. Connect with your peers.

  • You need to be able to create a private forum.

Create Interesting and Engaging Content

Taking action and reporting on the action you have taken, and the results you get is the best way to start building your following. Report your actions and the results on your main Facebook profile and within your group.

People that join your group usually aren't doing much and they have joined because they know they need to do something. As they see your example of doing things, they start viewing you as a leader.

Your followers will begin to do the things your doing and getting results. In the future you will be able to use their testimonials.

After a few posts, offer something for a limited time of a specific value for free in exchange for their contact information. Direct them to your website to sign up for the free product. You may want to have an upsell after they sign up for the freebie.

This gets them prepared for additional offers.

After your free offer, you should be presenting products for sale. You can start with affiliate offers or sell your own information product if you have one.

Inspire Interaction

Start interesting and clever conversations in your group. This makes your group much more interesting than just you posting blog posts.

This makes your group more vibrant, fresher, exciting, and happening. It's still the same information you may post about, just contained in a conversation.

Connect With Your Peers

When you get noticed by your peers that have Facebook pages, podcasts, blogs, YouTube videos, and such they may join your group and ask to interview you or ask you to write a post. Do this and direct your audience to that content.

In return, you build a relationship with your peers and they will direct their followers to your group. This increases your number of followers.

This has the added benefit of increasing your credibility, authority, and trust.

Keep on creating conversations. Now that you have your peers in the group the conversations should be even more interesting.
