Compensation Plan

Retail Profit – dōTERRA calls their distributors wellness advocates, they save 25% off retail which allows them to make a profit on products sold to customers.  Retail sales are usually made when the customer doesn’t want to commit to a membership or becoming a distributor.

Fast Start Bonus – you make 20% from every person that you enroll with a wholesale membership for the first 60 days.  Fast start goes 3 levels deep. Level 1 is 20% that you earn on your personal enrollments. Level 2 & 3 is earned on the sales your down-lines make. The fast start is paid out weekly and is a great way to get your business started.

Power of 3 Bonus – Products are assigned a point value (pv). When a consultant purchases 100pv on the loyalty rewards program, they qualify for the Power of 3 and the following commissions:

First level:  a $50 per month bonus is earned when you and 3 people on your front line are all ordering 100pv or more that month which equals a total of 600pv for you and your front line team.

Second level:  a $250 per month bonus is earned when your 3 front line distributors have 3 of their own making 100pv.

Third level: a $1500 monthly bonus is earned when your 2nd level has each of their 3 distributors on their front lines earning 100pv.

Unilevel Commissions- The 4th way to make monthly commissions with Doterra is thru their unilevel plan. This is the bread and butter of the compensation plan.There are 7 levels with commission of: 1st level: 2%; 2nd level: 3%; 3rd – 4th level: 5%; 5th – 6th level 6%; 7th level: 7%

Leadership pools.

Empowerment Bonus – A Wellness Advocate that qualifies as a Premier or Silver and enrolls one new Wellness Advocate or Wholesale Customer with 100 PV or more in a month, will receive one share in the Empowerment Pool. Shares do not acumulate from one Rank to the next. A share’s monthly bonus is equal to the designated pool’s percentage (1%) multiplied by the Company Volume for the same month, and divided by the number of shares of Wellness Advocates who have qualified for a share in that month.This amounts to an average of $200 per month.

Silver, Gold, Platinum Bonus – Each Silver receives one share in the Leadership Performance Pool. Each Gold receives five shares in the Leadership Performance Pool. Finally, each Platinum receives ten shares in the pool. Shares do not cumulate from one Rank to the next. For example, a Wellness Advocate who moves from Silver to Gold is entitled to five shares, not one share from the Silver pool and five from the Gold pool. A share’s monthly bonus is equal to the designated pool’s percentage (2%) multiplied by the Company Volume for the same month, and divided by the number of shares of Wellness Advocates who have qualified for a share in the month.

Diamond + Bonus – Each Diamond receives one share in the Diamond Performance Pool.  Each Blue Diamond receives two shares in the pool, and each Presidential Diamond receives three shares in the pool. Again, shares do not cumulate from one Rank to the next.
